Host utilities
Set health alerts and scheduled maintenance, with settings stored on your machine.
Choose your add-ons
Open Tools to see what your plan includes, then select a host. Admins can include Health alerts and Scheduled maintenance in existing plans. Basic resource and IP information stays available independently. Separate add-on purchases are not offered yet.
Read and save on the host
Agent 0.3.5 and local remote-management permission are required. In the host’s Utilities tab, choose Read utility settings. Changes are validated, confirmed and saved in a protected local file. ServerX does not store that configuration in its database.
Health alerts
Choose CPU, RAM and disk thresholds, how long usage must stay high, an offline timeout and the interval between repeat notices. Alerts and recovery notices appear in Tools; email to the account/team owner is optional and needs working email delivery. Missing readings are never treated as healthy. On shared hosting, reported resources may describe the shared machine rather than your allocation.
Scheduled restarts
Choose weekdays and a UTC time, then review the exact host and schedule before confirming. A full machine restart needs unrestricted local access and a real root or administrator account. The agent must be running; missed times are skipped. Schedules remain local and continue while disconnected or after a plan change until disabled. Revoking the cloud connection does not erase them.
Temporary readings and IP addresses
Live resources, IP addresses, alert rules and recent notices are held in temporary memory, with size limits and a maximum of 24 hours. Restarting the control plane clears that view; offline detection resumes once the host reconnects. No metric or alert history is saved in the ServerX database. Enabled emails are delivered to the owner’s mailbox. Private or VPN IPs do not guarantee public reachability.
