Connect Cline

Use Cline’s Remote Servers tab with Streamable HTTP selected explicitly.

In the Cline panel, open MCP Servers using the server icon in the top toolbar.
Open Remote Servers. Enter ServerX as the name and paste the full MCP URL.
Choose Streamable HTTP, then Add Server. Complete OAuth if your installed Cline version offers the authorization prompt.
Verify the tool list and ask Cline to list your hosts. Keep automatic approval limited to the tools you intend to allow.

Cline’s documented transport type is streamableHttp; omitting it selects legacy SSE. OAuth support can differ by Cline surface/version. If authorization is unavailable, update Cline or use an OAuth-capable client; do not paste account passwords into this file.

Authorization covers current and future hosts in your selected ServerX account or team. Your host’s local configuration decides what can execute. Disconnect access at any time in AI Apps. The agent contains no AI.
