Last updated: 12 September 2026

ServerX.tech ("ServerX", "we", "us") provides software that connects servers and computers to compatible MCP clients and AI services. This Privacy Policy explains what information ServerX processes when you use the website, dashboard, remote agent and related services.

Information we process

We process account information such as your email address, authentication details, workspace membership and security settings. We also process technical information required to operate ServerX, including host identifiers, hostname, operating system, agent version, connection status, IP and security logs, MCP/OAuth connection metadata and operation audit metadata.

ServerX is designed as a control bridge. Your detailed local host policy remains on your machine. Arbitrary file contents, command output and local configuration are not intended to become a permanent cloud copy merely because the agent is connected. Operation content may transit the service temporarily when required to complete a request.

Local host configuration

ServerX agents use a configuration stored on the connected machine. On Linux the default configuration is `/etc/serverx/config.yaml`. On Windows the default configuration is stored under `C:\ProgramData\ServerX`. The host operator controls this configuration and the authority granted to ServerX.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service, authenticate users and devices, route requested operations, show host status, maintain audit records, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, provide support and improve reliability.

Connected AI and MCP services

When you connect ServerX to ChatGPT, Claude or another compatible MCP client, that third-party service processes information according to its own terms and privacy policy. ServerX does not control the provider's handling of prompts, model conversations or data after it has been delivered to that provider.

Cookies and local storage

We use necessary cookies and local storage for authentication, security, preferences and consent state. Non-essential analytics or marketing technologies are used only when enabled and, where required, after consent.

Sharing

We may use infrastructure and service providers to host ServerX, deliver email, process payments, monitor service reliability or provide support. We do not sell personal data.

Security

We use technical and organisational measures intended to protect account, device and service data, including encrypted transport, short-lived credentials where appropriate, device identity, access controls, audit trails and revocation controls. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Retention

We keep account and service metadata only for as long as reasonably required to provide the service, meet security and legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Temporary operation payloads should be removed after their bounded delivery or diagnostic lifetime unless a feature explicitly states otherwise.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, or request portability. You may also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority.

Account and host removal

You can revoke connected MCP clients and ServerX devices from the dashboard. Uninstalling the local agent stops that host from connecting. Account or privacy requests can be made through the contact page on ServerX.tech.

Children

ServerX is intended for professional and technical users and is not directed to children.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy when the service, law or our practices change. The current version will be published on ServerX.tech.
