These Terms govern your use of ServerX.tech, the ServerX dashboard, remote agent, MCP endpoint and related services (together, "ServerX"). By creating an account, installing the agent or using ServerX, you agree to these Terms.
The service
ServerX connects servers and computers that you control to compatible MCP clients and AI services. The ServerX agent executes operations requested through the service. ServerX does not provide local AI inference on your host.
Your authority
You may install or use ServerX only on systems that you own or are authorised to administer. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of ServerX complies with applicable law, contracts, policies and third-party rights.
Local configuration and access
The connected host controls its own ServerX configuration. You may configure read-only access, scoped access, custom rules, full access, or privileged root/administrator access.
Full access and privileged modes can execute commands, modify or delete files, stop services, change permissions and otherwise affect the availability, integrity and confidentiality of a system. You are responsible for the authority you grant and for reviewing configuration before enabling powerful modes.
Connected AI and MCP services
ChatGPT, Claude and other MCP clients are independent third-party services. Their terms, privacy practices, availability, confirmations, safety rules and plan limitations are controlled by those providers. ServerX cannot guarantee that a third-party client will expose or execute every ServerX capability.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and connected devices. Use available security controls, revoke access you no longer trust and promptly report suspected compromise.
Acceptable use
You must not use ServerX to access systems without authorisation, distribute malware, steal credentials or data, conduct unlawful intrusion, intentionally disrupt third-party systems, bypass lawful security controls, or otherwise violate applicable law.
Authorised system administration, development, automation, diagnostics and security testing of systems you are permitted to manage are allowed.
Availability
ServerX may be updated, changed, suspended or interrupted for maintenance, security, reliability or legal reasons. We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Data and backups
ServerX is not a backup service. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups and recovery procedures before running destructive or privileged operations.
Intellectual property
ServerX.tech, the ServerX name, branding, website, service and proprietary software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party components remain subject to their respective licences.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect ServerX, users or third parties, respond to abuse or security incidents, comply with law, or address a material breach of these Terms.
You may stop using ServerX at any time, revoke connected clients and devices, and uninstall the agent from your systems.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ServerX is provided without guarantees that it will be error-free or suitable for every environment. You are responsible for commands and operations authorised through your account, including the consequences of full access or privileged administration.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, or affects mandatory rights that cannot legally be waived.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as ServerX changes. The current version will be published on ServerX.tech with its effective date.
